While not actually PLANNERS, the schedules via PowerSchool can be tricky for some, especially parents who are used to using vertically-aligned daily schedules (like calendars). Plus it is obviously easier to run through the alphabet than the rotation of PowerSchool-esque periods. For example, p1 (1) is followed by p1 (4) and then p1 (7). How about A then B then C instead?
Download the documents here and adjust them or share them with your own students and parents. This helps keeps the kids (and moi) organized.
NOTE: the second button below offers a landscape orientation of my timetable. Adjust to your own schedule, save as a .pdf, and then upload to Staples, choosing the size for a custom poster of your timetable.

Design a Web Site
While I love G-Suite / Google for education, I find that I still rely on my web site, and then link google documents and materials into the Google Classroom. One password (I pay for the pro account so I can have that option) and all of my people can access it. This is also helpful for parents/guardians and tutors who do not have access to the Google Classroom. I'm unsure whether this tutorial has typos, so please forgive me if it does, but this is essentially the pd I did with our staff after midterm exams in 2014. Weebly is super easy to use. I love it. I have also taught students to make web sites, and theyve used
This is so easy to track, and I can add a column if I have required students to complete a form etc. There are some cool apps that can generate numbers and more, but I must explore them futher.
Select the list of names on the side, and CNTRL + C to copy
Open the Template you are using: Class Roster or Class Attendance Signature
Highlight the column for names in that document (i.e., with the number list)
Right-Click to get the menu, and for PASTE options, choose Keep Text Only.
Adjust the teacher name, course name and number, slot information, COLOUR CODE and school name as preferred.
NOTES:
These are MS Word documents. I dislike the way Google Docs formats tables.
If your class list is shorter than the number of rows in the template, the names will repeat. Just delete rows.
If your class list is longer than the number of rows in the template, not all of your class will appear. Add rows before or after you paste names, and always double-check.
I usually tap in space for five extra names to be written in until I get more copies made. I update every few weeks and make a copies for three weeks to a month; more frequent updates are required in the early days of the semester to accommodate class changes, etc. This means I make fewer copies at a time.
I circulate an attendance sheet and supervise students recording names as well. I watch for students signing for friends, etc., of course. And I watch for negative comments being written on the sheet. The attendance sheet is a backup, and helps me make sure my attendance is as accurate as possible. Latecomers know to sign the sheet.
I use the rosters to record grades, and I make versions for book distributions, assignment submission, etc.
I always like to have a true blank class sheet printed as well.
WVH Senior High ELA Curriculum Outcomes Checklists
The outcomes checklists below do not replace the curriculum guides; rather, they enhance them. I share these with my students and their families so everyone knows what we are doing. I also make a working copy for me, and I check it regularly to make sure I'm on track. These also can serve as templates for similar checklists in other courses.
